Dakota Solt is a freelance fashion designer, art director and painter. Her creative consulting agency is built on her expertise in launching brands from concept design to product development to campaigns. Her branding services include design decks, web direction, lookbooks, and brand collateral.
Dakota's Roster of artists and designers range from apparel, accessories, and homeware. She recently launched her own brand DAKOTA JINX in 2019, a boudoir and accessories line all handmade in Los Angeles. She will be launching her Bridal line next year.
In 2011 she launched LA creative concept store and clothing line CRYBABY Presents with her partner Lisa Ziven, and since then she has worked for brands: &Other Stories, Nasty Gal, Dreamworks/Universal, LM Ceramics, Aralada Vintage, Hera Collective, We-The Women, Sechung and FORM + COLOR.
Dakota has been featured as co-designer at LA Fashion Week, and worked on successful collaborations with Vans, Courtney Love, and Terry De Havilland. Press/Awards Include: WGSN Summit Panel Speaker, GenArt Fresh Faces of Fashion, Nylon's "It" Design Collective, Refinery 29's "30 Under 30" Designers to Watch, Macy's Workshop, and Emmy Nominated Video Editor in 2010.
